On the Cover: Circadian rhythms and the pigments that organisms use to sense light to entrain these rhythms are very much in the news. In 1751, Linnaeus described a garden consisting of flowers that opened and closed at specific but different times of day. He drew a "flower clock" that showed flowers of different species at the specific times that they open and close. This month's cover is a modern version of this design, made by two scientists-artists from Chile, Maria Isabel Niemeyer and Maria Cecilia Fernandez. We are pleased that they allowed Plant Physiology to feature their artwork on the cover of the journal.
